This beauty is made from the most unique beads! Each faceted bead is multiple shades of pink, ranging from clear to a wonderful pale peachy-pink tone. Trunk Show - Violet's of Saratoga - July 30

I'll be at Violet's of Saratoga (482 Broadway in Saratoga Springs, NY) tomorrow July 30 from 5-9pm for a special Trunk Show of Twinkle Studio Jewelry. I'll have lots and lots of new jewelry. Plus you'll receive a free pair of earrings with any Twinkle Studio purchase.

Jolie Femme

Over the next couple of weeks, I'll continue profiling the wonderful retail stores that are carrying Twinkle Studio Jewelry. I'm happy to introduce my newest parter Jolie Femme in Del Mar, CA. 

Jolie Femme is located in the Del Mar plaza which is just a couple blocks from the beach. Lovely! The shop itself is beautifully merchandised which makes shopping a great experience.

Owned by Sheree Clock, Jolie Femme has been in business since 2005. Sheree has brought together a wonderful collection of "girlie" goodies including classy lingerie, shapewear, bridal accessories, candles, bath products, and more. She has a wonderful collection! 

Jolie Femme has been voted by News 10 viewers the Best Lingerie Store in San Diego the past two years and is currently nominated for a third year. 

The shop has a large collection of Twinkle Studio necklaces, bracelets, earrings, cocktail rings, and hair fascinators. Stop by and visit!

I have no idea why, but my feeling about the color navy has gone from hate to love. Maybe it's my new home on the more-conservative East Coast or that I am just sick of black.

Upcycle, Recycle, Reuse

While I occasionally use something new in my creations (such as earring hooks), the vast majority of my supplies are vintage. Which means these items are being reused and recycled. Woot!

I love taking something that's particularly junky when I get my hands on it and making it something cute and pretty. 

For example, this bracelet is made from some really scratched up and not-very-pretty beads that I covered with a vintage scarf that was ripped and tattered. By using the good part of the scarf, I covered the beads and...voila! Cute bracelet!

These Pearly Girly earrings were crafted from vintage components. Now they're modern, posh, and ready for a day at the office or a night of cocktails. A pearl bead is perched upon a little silver-toned triangle with a tiny rhinestone in it's middle. Dangling from that is a slightly bigger pearl bead. $39 value.
