Our Own Petite Boutique

I'm excited to announce that Twinkle Studio will have it's own petite boutique inside of Artique in Clifton Park, NY beginning March 1!

Artique (off exit 8, just west) is a neat shop that is a collection of lots and lots of little artist shops underneath one roof. There's homemade sweet treats, handbags, scarves, furniture, baby gifts, candles, beauty goods, and more. 

I'll be carrying my jewelry, of course, but also many more girly vintage accessories such as handbags, scarves, and a wonderful collection of lingerie. 

 

I'm excited to have a little space in the world to share my amazing finds with you! And I'll surely keep you updated in my preparation for the March 1 launch.

Last week a man in the UK was stabbed in the eye with a high-heel!

Gavin Taylor was stabbed in the eye and it passed through and touched his brain. Ew. He's in critical, but stable condition. 

The woman who stabbed him was charged with intent to cause grevious body harm.

Jump Around

So I like to tease hubs about being "retro" and one of my favorite topics is his fitness regime. He's in great shape and a key piece of his routine is a rebounder. 

Yes, you heard me right. A rebounder. One of those little mini-trampolines. 

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHAH! Silly, huh? 

Well, not so silly if you actually use it. Which I did today. Holy #&$)@#($&#$)#&! I bounced like a crazy woman today, sweating and breathing like a prank phone caller. 

It's so fun because it's like being a kid and jumping on a trampoline. And a study by NASA and the University of Kentucky say: "the magnitude of the biomechanical stimuli is greater with jumping on a trampoline than with running. For example, a 150-pound person spending one hour on a rebounder will burn about 410 calories; the same person jogging for one hour (at the pace of five miles per hour) will burn only 355 calories."

So I'm not ribbing anymore...I'm jumping!
 

Dear Cupid

Cupid. Dude. So...I didn't get anything that I asked THE Santa for (ok, bad sentence...sorry).

I'm Here With My Tissues

I can get choked up at simple things like commercials, animals, babies...and the Olympics!

I have had moments of being a hot mess since the networks started running all those tender stories about Olympians and what they have gone through to get there. So I am both excited and dreading the opening ceremonies on Friday. 

That will be me sobbing when I see the flag of the USA!
